GLENN HUGHES Talks RONNIE JAMES DIO, DIMEBAG At This Year's 'Dimebash' (Video)

December 23, 2011

Eric Blair of "The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show" conducted an interview with Glenn Hughes (BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION) at a massive gathering on December 14 at the Key Club in Hollywood, California to help celebrate the life and music of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) as part of this year's Dimebash. You can now watch the chat below.

All proceeds from the concert went to Wendy Dio's charity Stand Up And Shout, which raises money for cancer research; her husband, Ronnie James Dio, died of stomach cancer in May 2010.

Hughes joined surviving HEAVEN & HELL members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice when they played a very special tribute to their fallen bandmate, Ronnie James Dio, on July 24, 2010 at the High Voltage festival at Victoria Park in London, England. Also appearing with the musicians was Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande, who sings for power metallers MASTERPLAN and released his own tribute to Ronnie.

On November 1, Jawbone, a leading independent music book publisher based in London, England, released the paperback edition of Hughes' book, "The Autobiography: From Deep Purple To Black Country Communion".
